Poet Jason Labbe, a drummer and percussionist, has recently performed and/or recorded with various artists in New York and New Haven, including Charles Burst, Latitude/Longitude, Weigh Down, MT Bearington, Enoch Kane, The Dust Dive, Bed Smith/Doc Mars, and others.
In 2007 he received an MFA in Creative Writing from The University of Virginia, where he was a Henry Hoyns Fellow. He is the author of a chapbook, Dear Photographer (Phylum Press, 2009), and his poems appear or are forthcoming in A Public Space, Conjunctions, Boston Review, Poetry, Open City, American Letters & Commentary, Vanitas, Barrow Street, Court Green, Cue, the Hat and elsewhere. He lives in Bethany, Connecticut with his wife, the designer Melissa Ebertz.
